A:Answer I find this to be an excellent laptop. If he is primarily using a laptop for casual use, it may be more than he needs. I got this laptop to use for college because it's fast and can handle a lot of multitasking. It also has a lot of storage space. So if he doesn't need all that a good option would be something with an Intel Core i5 or Ryzen 5, and 8GB of memory so that it will still be pretty fast, but not more than needed.
