The ASUS Vivobook M1603QA laptop comes with 8GB DDR4(3200MHz) onboard memory. In addition to the onboard memory, the laptop has an open socket where 8GB can be added. There is one M.2 SSD connection on the laptop, and the storage capacity can reach 1TB.

You will still need 4 GB shared memory for the integrated graphics iGPU, leaving 20 GB for programs and data - a 66% upgrade over now. Or else a 50% usable memory upgrade plus a doubling of shared video memory - enough to support an outboard monitor.
