- Answer According to Crucial website, when you input this model, it says it can upgrade to 24GB. Says (1) non removable 8GB slot and (1) removable slot. However... Asus representative has answered someone else's question inquiring about RAM. They said only 16 GB max. I'm curious as well, what it is?

QuestionIs the number pad always on for numbers? I have an older Asus and you have to hit the numlok to make the numbers work. Which for a separate number pad doesn't make sense to me.

- Answer I just got a new of these asus laptops and The number pad can be kept active at all times, even if you turn off and then restart the computer. This means you don't need to activate the "Num Lock" key every time you boot up the laptop; it will stay in the state you left it in during the last session. This is convenient for those who want to use the number pad consistently without needing to make additional adjustments.

- Answer I’d say the current answers here are a bit suspect. To connect an external GPU means you probably want to run that at a high bandwidth, meaning you probably want to connect via USB (C) 4.0 or Thunderbolt or Occulink. This laptop has none of these. It only has Gen 1 variant of USB C, which is probably way to slow.
