I'm going to post a picture of the inside. There is a slot for a 2.5 inch drive but I can't for the life of me figure out how it's powered. And I was in there adding memory. However, if you get a powered hub ( they are very cheap) you can run one externally at pretty good speeds from the 3.1 ports.

Yes, there is a slot for another internal hardrive.
