The motherboard had to be replaced due to a manufacturing issue. Best Boy's Geek Squad replaced the defective motherboard under the manufacturer's warranty. We did have to pay the $100 BB service fee, but because it was a faulty motherboard, we did not have to pay for that since it was still within the warrant time. This is a lemon of a laptop and if purchased in the past month I would use Best Buy's return policy and find a better laptop.
