• According to the Asus site: Memory: DDR3L 1600 MHz SDRAM, OnBoard Memory 2 GB / 4 GB, /8 GB Our local Best Buy also indicated the memory could be upgraded.

• This unit, the quad core n3700, cannot be upgraded. I physically took it apart thinking I could either swap out the memory , or add to an unused slot. Apparently, the older dual core version of this laptop had an unused SIM slot. This one does not. The memory is soldered on the board. As for ordering it with more memory, I couldn't find a way to do that either.
