• The monitor came with a DVI cable a VGA cable and audio cables. The DVI and VGA cables did not fit my Mac. To use it with my Mac as a second monitor, I purchased an Apple Mini DisplayPort to DVI Adapter.

• No - at least not with ours. It has a VGA cable and we use that with a VGA-HDMI connector. We have one by Insignia and one by Belkin (c. $25) and they both work with no problem.
