• can't say about the ram, but yes to the ssd, when i bought mine, i had the geek squad install a ssd, well worth it

• i can't say about the ram, but can say yes to replacing the hard drive for a ssd, it's what i did when i got mine, very glad that i got the ssd, so much faster
