It isn't just the RAM you need to consider. The graphics card is one of the major factors as to whether or not a game can be played with higher settings. Your current laptop may have a better graphics card.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Game performance depends not only on RAM. It is probably the second most important feature, the first being the Graphics Card, or GPU. Your current/old laptop may have a better GPU than this one. The one on this one is the Intel HD Graphics 5500. It's a fine entry-level card. It can run Skyrim at low settings fine, and so think in that vain of gaming. As for Second Life, looking at it's system requirements here: https://secondlife.com/support/system-requirements/ It looks like you should be able to run the game at Recommended Settings just fine.
