• There's no thermal issue. I use it with an external monitor If you buy the port you'll be able to use itany external accessories. I purchased the wireless keyboard and mouse. Works great !

• I’m sure if you can emulate the small leverage the lid makes when it’s open for that “breathing room” you shouldn’t run into any issues.
