A:Answer While the Asus reps' answers are technically correct (you cannot use the USB-C port to charge the laptop), you absolutely can use USB-C chargers to charge this laptop if you're willing to buy a simple adapter that can be found online for less that $10 US. You plug your USB-C charger into the adapter, and plug the adapter into the barrel charger of the laptop. Works perfectly. This is the adapter I use, but any with the same specs will work:
Cablecc USB 3.1 Type C USB-C to DC 19V Adapter PD Emulator Trigger 90 Degree Angled (4.0x1.3mm)
You also need a charger with high-enough power to do this. I use this wall charger and it works perfectly:

Also, on the go, I use a portable power bank to do the same thing. Here it's very important to get one that not only is high-enough power, it needs to support "PD" (Power Delivery).
I use this one specifically: "USB C Portable Charger RAVPower 20000mAh 60W PD 3.0 Power Bank 2-Port Power Delivery Laptop Charger"
Hope that helps! Don't let the absence of direct USB-C charging turn you away from this laptop. This is an excellent computer and is a steal at the current sale price of $499.99 (at the time of my writing this.)
