QuestionMy current Asus Vivobook S400C has a deteriorated audio system so I'm looking for a replacement for Zoom meetings. What is the quality of the camera and built-in microphone for this Zenbook? Are they reliable for long meetings? Thanks.

- Answer Don't forget that you are dealing with a budget laptop and besides that, sound and speaker quality on laptops in general aren't that great. Neither is the camera. With that said, yes, you can use the laptop for zoom meetings. Make sure you have good lighting for the camera. Sound quality is good as well and you wont have troubles hearing anything. You can also hook up external speakers to enhance the quality. I would use the computer for zoom meetings.

- Answer Yes, 8 GB is enough to run Photoshop. However, it depends on what you are using Photoshop for. If you are making small, quick edits to photos, and your files are limited in layers. However, if you or modifying large files that contain a large number of layers (especially filter layers and smart objects), 8 GB is not going to create a good experience in Photoshop. I use my 16 GB desktop powerhouse for my design work, but I run Photoshop (and Affinity Photo) on this with no problem, but I avoid trying to edit my large projects. However, having 8 GB with a 2 GB dedicated video card is MUCH better than NOT having a video card.

- Answer No - it's not a gaming computer for most modern games at 1080p. The dedicated Nvidia card though can handle plenty of older games - just don't expect to get a high framerate. I'd google graphics card benchmarks to get a better sense of how this card's (MX350) performance stacks up to other cards.

- Answer Yes it does. The response from Asus is funny because it shows they have no idea what you were talking about. It's a great laptop, but basically every unit has the fan issue. You gotta shut down and turn back on the laptop to get the max fan speed to turn off. I imagine it's a very simple software fix that Asus for some reason never fixed. It's still an issue on Windows 11 too.
