Yes, the storage or SSD is upgradeable or expandable.

It is expandable, but somewhat of a pain to access. You will need a small Phillips head and a small starred screwdrivers and a spudgel(sic) to remove the back cover. When you flip the laptop over, you will see 4 rubber, round cushions. You ONLY need to remove the top 2 cushions (the ones closest to where the slits in the cover are). They are secured with glue, however, you can use your thumb to pop them up. There is a notch on the bottoms of the cushion. Once you have removed all the screws, use the spudgel to pry the back case from the laptop. Start at the top where the monitor is at and carefully pry it open.
