A:Answer I experienced the same problem. One person said to update the Bios and chipset. If you are like me, I hate updating the BIOS unless it is to fix a serious issue.
To solve this problem of a sleeping keyboard, do this:
In the settings, set your computer to never sleep nor hibernate.
You can set the screensaver to kick in after about 5 minutes so there is no burn-in to the monitor but realistically, why would you leave a laptop on for hours without using it.
Very quickly, there is no reason to EVER hibernate or sleep a computer. Back in the day of mechanical hardrives and low RAM where it could literally take 2-4 minutes for a computer to boot to the desktop, yes, sleep and hibernate were necessary. Now, with faster RAM and SSD, boot speed is down to less than 6 seconds, hence, sleep and hibernate are not needed and should be taken away.
