- Answer I'm not sure about the closing of the camera, I only had it for two weeks. I can say the the response I received when using videoconferencing was outstanding, this was compared to the HP Pavilion desktop that I have.

- Answer Just bought this laptop - it gets a little hot, but you can work with it on your lap for hours without noticing. Not as bad as some Dell laptops that I had in the past.
