“It was answered that the volume is controlled by the function keys. Does it have a toggle on either side also? I have a 2016 and it has a toggle on the left side next to the on/off and many times I have accidently turned the machine off. Thank you.”

The volume controls are function keys and on screen via the taskbar, mouse or touch controlled. No physical controls on either side of laptop. Good luck Becca.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Becca, This model has no volume buttons or toggle on the sides of the laptop. You control volume through function buttons or through the screen. I have been very pleased with the purchase of this laptop. It is my third Asus and the best yet.
