• Yes,it has touch pad display which ASUS called it Screenpad.

• Yes. It has a couple of different modes that can go from a normal blank touchpad to displaying what is also on the large display. I only use the normal touchpad mode, but the others do seem to work as claimed if you need that. Note that these extra modes use more battery power.
