- Answer Yes you can up to 256gb that's the maximum amount it will take,I have a SD card for 128gb installed on my Asus 4 Max and it works fine I don't need anymore memory but it can take up to 256gb....

QuestionJust bought ZenFone 4 Max after using zenfone2 for a couple years. The new messaging app is not as good as the Asus supported app on the zenfone2. Do you know if the old app can be safely downloaded on the zenfone4? Thanks

- Answer The Google Play Store shows the prior Asus Messaging app as being incompatible with the Zenfone 4 Max, and I can't load it through the play store app on the phone as available, so I have to assume the answer is no. The Asus Messaging app hasn't been updated since 2016.
