• I would assume it should since Mexico and America are in same region. At that matter I believe the 5Q is an international phone.

• As long as its unlocked all you would have to to do is change the sim card. Example would be if I had t mobile and traveled to mexico and have a telcel sim card... I would switch out the sims and switch back when I get back to the states. Unless you have a duel unlocked phone then you would use one slot for what ever service and the other for the telel
