If I have google maps running on my phone it is on my wrist too, but it is generated on the phone and sent to the watch, not stand alone for watch.

Yes. It functions very well as a navigator. It will be great if I ever need it while riding a motorcycle. Works with google maps. vibrates at turns.

First of all, I only know what it can do with iPhone which is very limited. The watch sends me google maps notifications that says your are how far from one of my frequent drives then shows me the route on a maps. That's about all you can do with iPhone.

It has a Google maps app that is connected to the one on your phone. Using Google voice search you can find and start navigation to a location.

Yes you can open maps yourself on the watch and use it or you can go into maps on your phone set your destination then navigation and it automatically put your route up on your watch, map, directions etc it's just on a smaller screen
