“Is there any type of water proofing? I'm not talking about showers or swimming, I am taking about washing your hands or getting stuck in a rain storm.”

• Actually, showering is OK. Personal experience. No problems. Swimming not recommend because of water velocity involved. Splashing absolutely OK. It has a water resistant rating = 30 minutes under three feet of water. But not considered water proof.

• From what I've been told and what is graded it can withstand showering or swimming. So, if it can handle that I guarantee you it will handle washing your hands.

• yes. up to 3 feet of water for 30 min...some mill spec rating but im not sure what it is
