Is this watch appropriate for a female, with a medium to small wrist? null

I would say no. 49mm is a bit big for a female or even a male with a small wrist like myself.

I purchased this for myself. I have small wrists. The watch face itself is 49mm. That is bigger than Apples 38mm and 42mm face. This pretty much takes up my whole top of my wrist and you barely see the color of the band. I got the Dark Brown. Very nice color. I price matched to amazon for $129.00. Warranty was $39.99. Its a replacement warranty. The watch works with both android and apple. It was very easy to sync with my moto x pure phone and set up was 1 2 3.

Depends. I count myself as a medium sized wrist (normal watch band fits with room to spare). The faceof the watch pretty much covers my wrist, and I bought the larger size. It is very comfortable though and not bulky at all. People identify it immediately as a smartwatch so I guess I don't feel like it is too geeky for a women since it is fairly obvious what it is. You can get a few more feminine clock faces. i am fond of the Monet faces that I purchased for a small price. I bought the one with the sliver face and brown band. The brown band is very manly, so I do plan on swapping that out when I get a chance. I would recommend you get the smaller size. I went larger because I thought it would be easier to read, then after getting it saw a comparison online that the smaller size is just as readable.

Get the smaller version. It covers a lot of surface. This one definitively looks more masculine.

I think this might be too big for a small wrist and maybe oK for a medium wrist. I am a female with a large wrist and it is heavy and wide but I like it OK.

I had it on my wrist and thought it was on the large size. I think I have about an average (medium size) wrist. It didn't scream MAN'S WATCH but it was a little on the slightly larger, heavier side

I would say the smaller of the two sizes would look better, however the larger one wouldn't be massively to big, just a bit.
