• I've had mine reach probably 50 feet or so. It probably depends on your phone. I'm using a Galaxy S5.

• Watch requires a bluetooth or local wifi connection to receive or respond to texts. Range is the same as any other device. 50 to 100 feet max probably. Much less in some environments.

• You need to have the phone with you but the bluetooth does reach well within my apt but pretty sure I wouldn't be able to go outside with it.
