“How do I get our messages to go to our new ATT answering machine and not to our phone carrier voicemail. Our old ATT answering machine did this but I cannot get the new ATT system to work this way. Calls go directly to Voice Mail on phone”

You can set the number of rings before going to the answering machine and your phone carriers voicemail. Set these phones to 1 fewer ring.
