Will this phone be ok for a hard of hearing person? null

I can hear fine using the ear hook and speaker but the people I'm talking to have a hard time hearing me when I try using the speaker to talk to them.

That's what I was hoping for when I bought this phone. For me, it has plenty of volume. Answering and caller I.D. is difficult to navigate. Way, way too many instructions in the manual. I eventually turned off the answering and caller I.D.
