• No. It does have several nice features, but does not have the capability to be an answering machine as well. I did purchase an AT&T answering machine that works extremely well.

• Yes we can get voicemail messages. It is a good basic land phone. We attached it to the wall for convenience. Good quality voice tone and the keys, etc. are easy to read. So glad AT&T still makes these!
