- Answer There is a hold button right above the mute button on the bottom left next to the asterisk button, though I have never used it.

- Answer Yes, one of the advantages of this phone is that it can be used on a desk surface or on the wall. It converts easily. I had a little bit of trouble coiling the extra phone cord behind the phone before attaching it to the wall.

- Answer NO, it does not support this function It does have these functions, however... CALL INFO (red light at upper-right hand corner of phone base) On when the line is in use. Flashes slowly when a call is on hold. -OR- When the connected telephone line cord is not plugged into a wall jack. -OR- When the telephone on the same line is in use. Flashes quickly when there is an incoming call. CAN see missed calls (date/time/number) on the LCD alphanumeric display

QuestionIf you don't install the four AA batteries, obviously the digital readout won't work, but will you still be able to make and receive calls?

- Answer Yes, just no display. Will continue to receive/make calls with run down batteries and during general power failure as long as connected to standard phone line.

- Answer we have the wall mount bracket from a previous phone and this phone has fit quite nicely on it. You have to plug the short cord into the phone jack and coil it against the phone and then it slides flush against the wall.
