- Answer I have both the AT&T - CL2909 Corded Phone with Speakerphone - White and the AT&T - Model:DL72210 Cordless Phone - White Silver. They pair well together and look like they match and connected to same single landline, they both work together.

QuestionMy existing GE Wall 'Phone comes with a companion portable 'phone, both of which have AC adaptors. The ATT&T CL2909 would probably not be combatable with the GE Portable without an AC Adaptor.

- Answer According to the online owners manual; “Flash/call waiting If you subscribe to call waiting service with your telephone service provider, you can answer a new incoming call without losing your current call. 1. While on a call, press FLASH to connect to the new call when you receive a call waiting signal. 2. Press FLASH again to return to the original call.“ However, I don’t think it will display the incoming “call waiting “ number.

- Answer You should not have to dial 9 to get a dial tone, it should be present when you pick up the receiver. It sounds like you have a defective phone
