Can this phone be used with magicJack? null

We found a strange thing with MagicJack. The phone will ring if we do not plug in the AC adapter to see the screen. Soon as we plug it in. You can see you have a call but no ring. We have a REN booster ordered to see if it will boost the ring signal up to activate the phone ringer. CL4940 has a REN value of 1.25. it must be more when the AC adapter is plugged in.
