• The answer depends somewhat on walls, household wiring, bushes, trees, and other electrical devices between base and satellite handset, as well as nearby electrical devices, but from my personal experience, I have had very good reception between my boat on the lift at my water-side dock and my kitchen base station, a distance somewhere around 100 plus feet. On the street side of the house, I have been able to use the phone between the kitchen base station and inside my car (talking to Sirius/XM) with adequate reception, somewhere around 90 feet.
