QuestionIs it possible to program this phone to bypass its own answering device and forward calls?I would like to use this phone as the main phone in my home but if I'm not home and cannot answer the phone I'd like it to be able to forward my calls to my cell phone number. There I could either pick up the call or if I miss it I would still get A message on my cell phone. Can this phone be configured to bypass its own answering device and forward calls? Thank you.

QuestionCan you tell this phone how many times to ring before it answers to take a message?I'm partially disabled and I'd like the phone to ring at least 8 times to give me a chance to answer it before it defaults to taking a message. Is it possible to manually tell it to ring longer than whatever is the built in default? For that matter what is the factory set default? Thank you.

- Answer yes.....it has 9 speed dial spots available, but also has a directory built in that holds 50 names. very easy to use the directory andsave them into the directory and edit the name or number.

- Answer There are two types, the single outlet where it sits between the wall and the phone, to filter out the internet signals and double outlet where it is used to separate the combined phone/internet signal from your service provider into two separate signal wires - one to your DSL modem and the other to you hardwired phone or base station of the telephone system. You can buy them nearly anywhere and easily online, but are usually provided from the DSL provider if you got their modem. Cost is just a few dollars each.

QuestionHandset baseI notice now that most of these phones with the extra handsets have really flimsy and cheap bases for the extra handsets....how are the ones for this phone? Do they flip over as most of the others do easily? Looking for sturdy bases that won't flip over ....thanks!
