• It will announce caller and you can accept or not. If you program the number in your directory, I would think it would go through, but I've not received any automated calls like that yet, so can't truly say. I programmed doctor office numbers in, but they've all made personal calls so far. Good question.

• You can put in the name in a separate list without knowing the phone number, such as dr office or pharmacy or town .
