“Does this system need to be plugged into a phone jack ? I have Comcast & live in a condo with one phone box for multiple units &.was unable to be hooked up to it. The tech said I need z phone system that just has to be plugged into an outlet.”

• Yes the base unit must be plugged into a phone jack or in our case a phone modem connected to our cable provider.

• Yes...the base phone (phone that connects to the answering machine unit) must be plugged into a jack. They remaining 3 phones are then plugged into an electrical outlet. Good luck...hope you are connected soon!
