Pretty much true. I don't like that fact either.

Please try again later.yes you can...read the instructions and you can hit the select button when someone is talking and hear what message they are leaving..or do nothing and you can hear or just don't answer and it is just as easy to let your answering machine pick up and call back if you want to ..either way you get to hear the message..and hear who is calling you..

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can hear the message someone is leaving, it is just not preceded by the message you place on the machine. This means that once the machine picks up, there is silence while your message is played for the caller. It seems as if the caller is not leaving a message. After that, if the caller leaves a message, you can hear it. Just a little strange. I was used to hearing my message and then the caller's message. The silence in between throws you off a bit.
