Landline phone. Main unit needs a phone jack. Other units plug into an electrical outlet.

One is in my bedroom on the second floor and the third one is on the third floor. All of them get great reception. I have a 3200 square-foot home and have no problems.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It's a landline unit. Only the base needs to be plugged into a phone jack. The other units get plugged into an electrical outlet. Awesome phone! Once you save a number in one phone, it will automatically save to the other units. Very convenient!
