No it doesn't block any calls from people, you want to talk too. If you put these numbers in the call directory. It does have a call blocker button you can push.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have found it is necessary to set up an "Allow List" for friends and businesses to avoid the problem of blocking a desired number. The Smart call blocker when set to "on" will automatically screen out robocalls. Anyone not on your "Allow List" will be rejected unless the # key is pressed for numbers that aren't visible or fall into the unkown number or uncategorized type. The Smart Call Blocker section in the owners manual covers this in good detail. To enter numbers on your Allow list you will need to press the menu select button first then use the CID button to scroll to the Smart Call Block feature. Press Menu select again, scroll to SCB on/off and press menu again, ensure the smart call block is set to ON, press menu to enter the setting. Navigate back one screen with the cancel button. Scroll through the smart call block menu with the CID button and select the Allow List, press Menu to enter. Scroll to the Add New Entry with the CID button, press Menu then enter the phone numbers and names of the people you want to allow the phone to pass through. When finished, navigate back to the smart call block menu with the Cancel button and select the Call w/o number feature and press Menu. Set the Call w/o number to Block using the CID button then press Menu to enter the setting then navigate back to the main screen with the Cancel button. Keep the users manual in an accessible place just in case you wish to make changes later.
