• On a handset, press MENU/SELECT in idle mode. Press (Down)CID or (up)DIR to scroll to Ansering sys, then press menu/Select. -Press MENU/SELECT to scroll to Announcement. Follow the screen and voice prompts to record a new announcement. -You can set the answering system to answer an incoming call after 2-6 rings. scroll to # of rings and choose. -Press MENU?SELECT to save.

• Yes, you can set up your own message by following the menu on the phone to Answer Syst.
