A:AnswerNo, once you buy the card you can set it up as you with the instructions on the prepaid card. Att has a website that you can use or if you need help can go into att store for them to show you and help you. I did this myself by creating an account online att.com,then I chose prepaid and entered the code on the same type of card you purchased (scratch off) and it will credit you that amount on the card for the 30 day cycle. They don’t have to renew until you want when you get another card. So can buy another card after 30days or wait a couple of months to add credit. Each card seems to expire 30 days after you activate it with the code on the scratch card.
A:AnswerAT&T Go phone service at Best Buy. $45.00 per month or same phone from AT&T at Best Buy. Call 611 for customer service from phone and tell them you want the $45.00 per month plan with unlimited phone and text and 1.5 Gig data or just tell them the Walmart AT&T plan - $45.00 per month. Coverage area is the same as the post paid AT&T plans. Some AT&T Go phones at Best Buy have a phone card included which gives you time with the phone. You can get phones as cheap as $20 - $25.00 at Best Buy.
Hope this helps and wishing your child an awesome camping experience.

A:AnswerAs long as that device is “unlocked.” Basically meaning that it is not tethered to a network provider. Many phones are, but don’t be disheartened, because owning your device leads to the real savings and freedom.
A:AnswerYou will need to get 3 of the $15 cards to apply to your phone for data. Scratch off each card to see the PIN number and "call it in" using your phone.
