• yes I just did this-just switch out your old sim card into new phone

• Yes. You can transfer your sim card to the new device. Apple also has a fairly efficient app that can help you transfer your photos and other data from the old iPhone to this one. Beware that September is a weird month for iPhone purchases because the new generation is released. So, prices on older models may fluctuate rapidly.
