Will this work on Republic Wireless? null

I did extensive research on Republic compatible phones on BB.com. for my son. The model # MUST BE XT1921-2. Verify this in the product specifications before purchasing.

That is a question you need to ask your provider. I can only use mine for ATT.

Possibility if I get a unlocked phone

If you can find Moto e5play with Republic Networking,then yes.You could Google to find one in your area.But my particular phone (Moto e5 play)is on ATT only.
