• Yes, as long as you have a AT&T nano sim all you have to do is insert it and turn the phone on. Your account will automatically update with the new phone.

• I bought this phone for my daughter since her old phone got messed up. She has at&t service. Bought this phone inserted her chip and it was good to to :D

• Yes. Although it uses a newer nano sim card, so if you don't have that size, it won't work. But, the AT&T store swapped out the old sim for a new, nano sim and activated it in the phone for free.
