QuestionDoes this AT&T unlimited data really unlimited when I buy it or do you have to buy a plan for that? Because I’m trying to get a sims card for my tablet so I can have unlimited data on it for that whole month

- Answer The SIM card is a separate purchase from the pre-paid unlimited data plan. You'll have to purchase one month of the pre-paid unlimited data plan of your choice (upon installing the SIM) to get things started. Plans change, so I suggest checking out the latest offerings at: https://www.att.com/prepaid/plans.html Also, be sure to read the footnotes in the chart at that web site. The folks at Best Buy set things up for me for one of the pre-paid plans when I purchased a new smartphone. The one-month pre-paid fee was charged to my credit card.

QuestionHello. I'm travelling with my girlfriend to NY soon and we need a SIM card data only. Is this one the best option for us, or is there any other one that's better then this? We'll only gonna need data for surfing the net while walking through NY.

- Answer I'm on the ATT pay as you go plan. I pay $30-35 a month for phone service and I get 1GB of data. I can add an extra 1GB for $10 each. I've been NYC and the coverage was excellent there. There might be better options for you, but that's my two cents. Alternatively, if you want to switch to ATT permanently they have a limited time promotion. Phone service and 8GBs of data each month for only $25 but you have to pay for the full year upfront to get the deal.
