Is phone unlocked if not how can it be unlocked null

Not unlocked, maybe asking at&t for code, not sure

The phone is locked to ATT service. You need the unlock code to unlocked it. If you go to ATT dealers/stores, they require you to wait for 6 months service through ATT before allowing you to unlock it. I got my unlock code and wasvable to use it with other GSM network without having to wait. ATT used to give out free unlock code, but it seems that they put this 6 months in service restriction, so you have to get the unlock code elsewhere.
