• I've never heard of it being done. This sounds like you are confusing the ethernet plug with a phone plug. So unless the printer documentation says there is a way to do this, don't try it.

• Without knowing about the type of printer plug, that's difficult to anwer. The phone comes with a cord, and if you need a longer cord for the handset, you can get one as long as the prongs are the correct size.
