• Are the batteries new for starters with a good expiration date on them and in correctly as per the directions with the + and - symbols? If your phone does not have a dial tone; the in-use light is on when the phone is not in use; your cords are all in place and still your phone is seemingly inoperable I suggest you read very carefully the instructions again. If all else fails, you should promptly return this purchase for a full refund and/or exchange it for a much simpler telephone that will meet your needs.
