There are different frequencies in the radio spectrum that are designated and controlled for use. 4G/LTE for those AT&T customers in the US and Mexico are designated to the 700MHz spectrum and certain channels (sub bands) within this spectrum. This device is designed to operate within those specific spectrums. Therefore, it will only work with AT&T and possibly those other carriers, like T-Mobile, who operate in those bands. It will not work on other carriers like Verizon or Sprint.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am researching these products for My Own uses and the facts are that these providers utilize different technologies to provide services even though it says 4G, 3G & etc. This seems to be another way that they get over on Us by not letting Us buy a phone for example and continue to use it with an alternate carrier without some type of "hack". So no You cannot use this or any other AT&T LOCKED DEVICE with Verizon or vice versa. There is discussion all over the net about unlocking devices and nothing seemed to be anything but a dead end to Me and I was cross eyed for having tried!!
