Yes, you could; but I would not recommend it. You would need quite a bit of data if you were going to use it this way, as some of those updates can be in the GBs. Additionally, it may take a lot of time to do so as it does not give broadband internet speeds. I usually pull about 4 mbps which is definitely not my TWC speeds of 50+ mbps.
