• I added the Velocity HotSpot to my company's AT&T business account which we pay monthly. The fee is about $22 / month. Depending on how much data you are using, you may be able to set a separate pay as you go plan that is less expensive. Good luck!

• I use it on my phone plan. I have cricket wireless. I'm pretty sure it has to be a company that uses at&t towers.
