We had the H2O bolt. You purchase a data plan card. You pay for what monthly plan you want. You purchase the device and pay as you go with data cards. I feel a $50 10 gigabyte card will be plenty for the month. But it depends on your usage. We had 5 phones hooked up and an Xbox 360 for the week and used 4 gigabytes of data. You can kinda judge from that. We used it on our vacation.
