• Yes, i think it works with most laptops. You find the wifi signal the way you find any new wifi signal. I think the minimum purchase is $20 but that isn't much if you are streaming any data.

• This will work with and device that has worked-to capability. The minimum purchase amount for data varies. I would look at the site: https://www.att.com/shop/wireless/att-prepaid-mobile-hotspot.html It works like a charm and the speed is good.
